My wife and I have been here in Bend, OR for almost two months now. It was scary move considering we were both changing jobs and would be working in a new community. For me personally, that means I have to establish relationships with Realtors looking for lenders in town. I will say most Real Estate agents have been extremely welcoming and are more than willing to hear what you have to say as a new-to-the-area person in the mortgage industry.

We have had the opportunity to meet several business owners in Bend and they have been extremely welcoming as well. Jim & Brenda Allen are amazing people and own Three Sisters Forge, LLC which is a high quality knife manufacturing company. Jim & Brenda have been gracious enough in invite us to participate in lots of out door activities and events that have taken place in Bend. We are looking forward to spending more time with as our friendship grows.

As a more generalized statement, most everyone we have come in contact with has been more than friendly, offers a genuine ear to listen, and then offers constructive ideas on recreational activities or a plug for a great place to eat! We are definitely enjoying it here. I am looking forward with more chances to work with the people of Bend and help them with their mortgage needs while at the same time building relationships that last a lifetime.
